WEBSITE MAINTENANCE
Maintaining a current website will encourage your target audience to visit your site often. Inherent, Inc. offers an annual Web Maintenance Plan to budget for expected maintenance over the course of a year. Inherent’s plan also provides price relief for significant and/or unexpected changes, which result in overtime hours spent maintaining your website.

A plan is purchased for a twelve-month period, and allocates a certain number of hours to be spent updating and maintaining your website. The hours are distributed evenly across the period, and are not transferable from one month to another.

Website maintenance hours can be used for content edits to an existing website, such as updating a biography or adding a news item. Changes to the data structure for dynamic applications or navigation structure of the website usually entail a significant amount of work. In such cases we recommend a separate maintenance or development work order.

Web Maintenance Plans Include:

  • Easy communication – Your site updates are overseen by our maintenance staff who ensure that content is added correctly the first time
  • Expertise – Maintenance work is done by experienced web developers and layout artists
  • Convenience – Inherent’s web developers handle conversion from most word processor programs, such as Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect, into web format
  • Monthly Activity Statements – We track how much time is spent on your site's maintenance; check your time usage any time via the Inherent Client Extranet (“ICX”)
  • Flexible selection – A wide range of plans are available

Service Levels Include:

  • Standard service – content will be updated within five working days (usually less)
  • Priority service* – content will be updated within two working days
  • Rush service* – content will be updated within one working day

*Note: Priority service is charged against your monthly hourly allotment at a rate of one and a half times (1.5x) the actual time spent executing the service. Rush service is charged against your monthly hourly allotment at a rate of two times (2x) the actual time spent executing the service.

The Web Maintenance plan should be in effect for one year consistent with your Web Hosting agreement. Prorating the Web Maintenance plan is available if necessary.
