Cox Castle & Nicholson ("Cox Castle") is a firm with nearly 150 attorneys practicing in offices located in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco, California. With a centralized focus on real estate law, Cox Castle felt it appropriate to use a large image of a high-tech corporate building on their home page. A small Flash movie provides animated text to draw the visitor's eye and deliver a quick overview of their firm.

One special feature of this site is the use of custom graphical arrows instead of regular bullets, which tie in with the firm's logo. Cox Castle provides site visitors with options to search their attorney directory by name, office location and/or title, and to view "Short" or "Descriptive" attorney biographies. Practice Area descriptions link to related Publications, and vice-versa, making it easy to navigate the site. All of the site's content is managed in an easy-to-use back-end admin system over which the firm has full control.

Cox Castle's Careers section is laid out so the visitor may view information on their own area of interest: attorney, law student, paralegal or staff. There's a "What Makes Us Different" page here, too, which invites potential candidates to learn about the firm in a friendly, bulleted format. For example, "We support our associates' client development efforts" is not just listed here, but described in more detail. Not every firm goes to such an extent to invite candidates to learn about how they work - Cox Castle really makes the effort to be different!
